In an era where digital privacy is increasingly compromised, the BraX3 smartphone emerges as a beacon for those seeking enhanced security without sacrificing functionality. Developed by Brax Technologies, the BraX3 is designed to prioritize user privacy, offering a de-Googled experience while maintaining compatibility with essential applications.
The company calls BraX3 the most privacy-friendly smartphone!
As of February 17, 2025, they have been able to raise more than $900k on IndieGoGo.

Early supporters can secure the device at a discounted rate of $299, with an expected delivery date in March 2025.
BraX3 runs on iodéOS, an Android operating system freed from Google trackers, and is powered by LineageOS, an open-source OS. It is free from unnecessary bloatware and Google services that ensure that user data isn't inadvertently shared with third parties.
The BraX3 will also support the Ubuntu Touch operating system for Linux enthusiasts and more tech-savvy users in general. Ubuntu Touch is an open-sourced Linux-based operating system with features for advanced user control. Ubuntu Touch comes with its app store and basic apps for all important everyday functions, including a terminal app.
BraX3 offers long-term support and security, with major Android OS updates and security patches guaranteed until at least 2030. This commitment ensures that your device stays up-to-date, secure, and fully functional for years to come. As an open platform, BraX3’s AOSP (Android Open Source Project) code will be shared with developers of other custom ROM projects. This means that developers who wish to port their custom ROM to BraX3 will have access to the resources they need to make it happen.
